You get this error because Gestinux is no more connected to the database server.
This normally occurs only when you save data into the database, after a too long inactivity, or after your internet connection was broken.
In this case, it is not possible to reconnect automatically and save your data without a risk of inconsistencies. It is advisable to give up.
In the case of a read without updates, reconnect is automatic.
This is more frequent with a mobile connection (3G ou 4G) to the internet.
A fine tuning of the connection can reduce the occurence of such errors, but it requires technical knowledge and Gestinux developers can't help you much in this area. However you can try to use the forum.
